Embark on a 5-Day Southern Sojourn

Depart Marrakech or Fes for an in-depth journey through kasbahs, gorges and the desert.

Day 1

• Marrakech/Fes to Ouarzazate via High Atlas and Aït Ben Haddou

• Afternoon exploring the ksar; overnight in a restored kasbah hotel

 

Day 2

• Ouarzazate to Skoura palm groves and on to Dades Valley

• Stop at the 'Monkey Fingers' rock formation; dinner and a riad stay with valley views

 

Day 3

• Dades to Todra Gorge; walk amid towering canyon walls

• Continue to Merzouga for the traditional desert camp experience with optional sunset camel trek

 

Day 4

• Sunrise tea and coffee in the dunes with optional camel trek before breakfast

• Drive through Erfoud’s fossil quarries and lunch en route to Midelt

• Overnight in a Mid-Atlas guesthouse

 

Day 5

• Midelt back to Marrakech or Fes via cedar forests and Berber villages

• Drop-off and goodbye
